Located in Northern Zambia, Tondwa GMA is 443 square kilometers of beautiful wetlands, with surrounding volcanic hills providing an African landscape that is hard to beat. With a largely diverse number of species found in this richly populated concession it boasts of huge Roan, Sitatunga, Blue Duiker, Puku, Hippo, Sable, Warthog, Reedbuck and Bushbuck to name a few. While it is not a good Buffalo block, a few Buffalo are occasionally found in the area and may be taken if quota permits. Tondwa is one of Zambia's remotest hunting areas and requires a chartered flight, or when available a commercial flight to Kasaba Bay with a two-hour drive to the hunting area.

There are two main types of hunts done in Tondwa. A 10-day Sitatunga hunt or a 14-day Roan, Sable and Sitatunga hunt.  On either hunt, you can combine a Kafue Lechwe in the Kafue Flats, or a Black Lechwe and Tsessebe in Bangwelu Swamp.
